The Park

The centre of the Norwood Park community is, of course, the park itself.

Open to all, the park has a diverse set of features which make attending a pleasure.

Tennis Courts

Five newly repaved tennis courts offer tennis enthusiasts a chance to enjoy their sport free of charge during the summer months.

 

Soccer field

Obviously, during the winter, the tennis courts cannot be used, however, the soccer field in front of them can be used!!

 

 

Wading Pool

There is a wading pool for children which is monitored by the City during the hours of operation. Usually those hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday during the summer.

 

Washrooms

Public washrooms are available, and can be used to change children into their bathing gear to enjoy the wading pool

 

Leash free area

There is an area where you can run your dog without a leash (OK, the golden retriever is supposed to be INSIDE of the fenced in area....)

But we would kindly ask that you use the receptacle for your pet's waste.
